What does your stationery say about you?
By Teena RoseThe paper resume isn't dead yet. Several variations of paper, such as copy, construction, multipurpose, photo, cotton, bamboo laid, parchment, and linen, are available to print your job-search materials. Each selection possesses a different texture, thickness, and may be available in a variety of colors — although only a few selections are acceptable. Your materials will have a better look when printed on quality, 20 lb. paper; thicker than copy paper, yet lighter than card stock. That thickness allows the document to remain crisp and winkle free. Printing on high-quality stationery reflects a "quality document"; and if properly written, a "qualified candidate."
