General Job Duties:
Assist Mediacom in maintaining our revenue stream by resolving problems and influencing customers not to leave Mediacom Communications or downgrade their services.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Resolve customer complaints and situations calmly and courteously.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve service, pricing and technical problems for customers by asking questions.
  

• Meets retention goals set by Company/department.
  

We are Seeking Customer Service & Retention Representatives Job ID 4298
The shifts available are 11am- 8pm or 12 pm - 9 pm
and requires Saturday availability.
The call center is closed on Sunday.

All applicants must have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  

• Ideal candidates will have two to five years of customer service experience
  

• Customer-oriented mentality
  

• Ability to operate a computer
  

• Effective listening skills with high level of empathy
  

• Effective verbal communication skills, including grammar and tone
  

• Ability to probe and correctly identify customer needs/concerns
  

• Exceptional sales skills in order to save and upgrade customers
