Systems Support Specialist III

Job Location: Ames , IA

The Ames Laboratory is seeking candidates for a Systems Support Specialist III position within the Information Systems Department. This position will provide complex technical support in network infrastructure within the Ames Laboratory, including the management of network switches and routers. The incumbent will configure, manage and administer central services, including Domain Name Services (DNS).

The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral). The ability to work independently or as a member of a team on multiple, simultaneous projects is important to success in this position.

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience, or a combination of equivalent related education and experience totaling 6 years. Pay is Commensurate with Qualifications.
