Electrical Engineer

Position: Electrical Engineer

Salary: $80K-85K

Shift: 1st

QPS Employment Group has an immediate opportunity available for an Electrical Engineer at an Engineering company located in Dubuque, IA.  This is a direct hire position!

Responsibilities:
• Produce designs, schematics and drawings for existing and new products using Dip Trace or equivalent PCB design software. 
• Follows design process to completion thru first successful production run. 
• Develops and tests the software required for the embedded hardware design.
• Develops prototypes for new and updated existing products assist with production startup and technical customer support.  Manage multiple projects and tasks with different priorities, time allotments and due dates. Use information developed by 3rd party standards to ensure the product design conforms to the standard.

Requirements:
• Four year Degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline
• Experience : Minimum of two years’ experience in electronic design, repair, and analysis of electronic systems
• Knowledge of embedded C and C++ Languages.
• Ability to configure, program, and debug microcontroller designs. 
• Ability  to use electronic test equipment such as multi-meters, oscillocopes, and Hipot testers.
• Coordinates efforts with other departments, suppliers and vendors in obtaining pricing, finding  sources, troubleshooting, prototyping, testing, and product research.
