Description
Position: Tool & Die Maker
Wage: $16.00-22.00/hour
Shift: 1st
QPS Employment Group has an immediate opportunity available for a Tool & Die Maker at a production company in Dubuque, IA. This is a temporary position with hours from 7:00am to 3:00pm on first shift and 3:15pm-1:15am on second shift.
Responsibilities:
• Read part prints and layout parts, read detail prints, blue prints, etc.
• Responsible for handling work out to apprentices, machinists.
• Ability to develop trim edge forms to a part print and maintain tooling a preventive maintenance on machinery.
Requirements:
• High school or equivalent
• Completed tool and die apprentice program and minimum 6 yrs experience
