General Functions: Functions as an Academic Instructor in a classroom setting, providing instruction in skills necessary to master academic competencies. Provides instruction, administers tests, evaluates progress in reading, writing, social studies, science and mathematics understanding and proficiency. Provides remedial materials and instruction when required.

Qualifications: A Bachelor Degree in Education and two years of teaching experience is required, preferably at the secondary level. NOTE: Concentration in Secondary or Adult Education preferred. Advanced degree highly desirable. A valid Regular Driver License is required. A State Teacher Certificate is required. Closes November 12, 2009
