Description: PART-TIME MEDICAL OPPORTUNITIES for Doctors, Dentists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Students and Dental Students

The OHARNG has immediate openings for Medical Officers - Doctors, Dentists, Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Social Workers, Medical and Dental Students. Check out the program details below then call us for more information.

Qualifications :

• Be licensed medical professional OR have bachelor's degree and acceptance letter to Medical, Dental or PA program.
  

• Must meet moral/legal and physical/age standards.
  

Training Requirements: Upon commission, complete AMEDD Officer Basic Leader Course (OBLC), a 28-day introductory course at Fort Sam Houston, TX. http://www.cs.amedd.army.mil/obc/1RCOBLC.htm.

• Drill one weekend a month and two weeks each year.
  

• Flexible Training Policy to ease monthly drilling into civilian schedule.
  

Available Benefits for Medical Professionals:

• Direct Commission as an Officer (for Doctors, Dentists, and PA/NP). Rank dependant upon education and experience. Doctors & Dentists commission as Captain (minimum); PA/NP typically commission as a First Lieutenant.
  

• Health Professional Loan Repayment: $50,000 upon completion of Officer Basic Leader Course (OBLC).
  

• Annual Bonus: $25,000 for Docs/Dentists or $20,000 for PA/NP.
  

• Federal Tuition Assistance: $4,500 annually for additional schooling; $2,500 for Continuing Medical Education annually.
  

Available Benefits for Medical Students:

• Direct Commission: Appointed as Second Lieutenant; promotion to Captain and transfer to respective branch upon graduation. Commissioned as Medical Service Corps Officer unless you qualify into Medical or Dental Corps.
  

• Monthly Paycheck: Up to $3,800/month while in school.
  

• Free health/dental insurance: Through TRICARE program.
  

• Federal Tuition Assistance: $4,500 annually.
  

• Student Loan Repayment: $50,000 upon graduation.
  

• Non-deployable: Until you graduate your program, to include residency.
  

• Annual Bonus: $25,000 for Docs/Dentists or $20,000 for PAs after graduation.
