Wurth Electronics Midcom, Inc., a subsidiary of Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co.KG., is a manufacturer of passive components for use in networking, computing, telecommunications and industrial applications. Our global reach is supported through our local direct technical sales network, regional design and applications engineering, and manufacturing located in China.

We are looking for a Power Magnetics Design Engineer who must have strong design and analysis skills, and have a thorough knowledge of electronic circuits. The candidate should have an understanding manufacturing and design processes. Must be able to communicate with customers, work well in a team environment, be dedicated to customer service and provide engineering support to all departments.

We are seeking a self-starting energetic individual that can successfully accomplish the following responsibilities:

Develop transformer designs to customer specifications and manufacturability.

Assist project planning and be able to communicate ideas.

Provide production and manufacturing support.

Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

Ensures that requested changes are in line with manufacturing processes and customer specifications.

Be responsible for product costs and ensure manufacturing costs are appropriate.

Develop and use design software to improve design and customer support efficiency.

Develop technical documentation in the form of technical bulletins and application drawings for products.

Travel and provide technical support to sales person, customer, and manufacturing.

Understand safety specifications and design within these guidelines to meet customer's needs.

Education : Minimum: BSEE/MSEE

Experience: Preferred: Power magnetics design experience. Will entertain qualified graduates.
