The information highway definitely provides us with that much needed link to information we need and want every day. However, it's also a platform to spread fallacies. You've heard this statement: employers don't offer job security and the stability they did a decade ago. Well, that claim may not exactly be true — not according to the National Center for Policy Analysis. In the organization's recent policy digest (September 18, 2006), the group found no indications that long-term employment and staffing stability is on the decline. In fact, Ann Huff Stevens stated, "new data indicates that there is little empirical evidence to support this claim."
